Designer
The son of an Italian father and a Mexican mother. Gian Franco Reni graduated from Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan. His designs are aligned with his mantra: “Fashion is Art and Art is fashion.” He learnt eccentric techniques from his internship in Alexander McQueen’s creative Studio.
Gian Franco qualified himself as humble and passionate about his work with huge projects and dreams, a little timid with a huge sense of humor.
He created exclusive collections with theatre concepts and styles focused on experimentation of impactful materials and techniques. He was one of the top designers of the escenaries in Mexico with a surreal vision and eternal beauty in each of his pieces.
For EcoPersona, he created the basic collection of scarves as a start to transform human life with ecological baby alpaca following his concepts of impactful materials and the eternal beauty.
EcoPersona is honoring Gian Franco Reni’s life by delivering his last designs in the first collection called “Papalot” which in Mexican Nahuatl means “butterfly.” His idea was to give the power and strength of the butterfly transformation to us who are covered by the creativity of his work.
